Al Baha University is a public university that was established in 2006.
The university is located in and around the city of Al Baha, western Saudi Arabia.
The university’s main campus is situated in Alaqiq, just 25km from the city of Al Baha. There are also three other campuses: the college of arts and science in Baljurashi, the college of arts and science in Al-Mandaq and the college of arts and science in Almikhwah.
The university’s faculties are organised into three main areas of study: medical faculties, faculties of science and engineering, and faculties of humanities, education and administration. These faculties are divided into different departments, which offer a range of both undergraduate and graduate degree programmes.
The English Language Centre was founded by the university to support its English language programmes. The centre helps students develop their English language skills and knowledge.
The Entrepreneurship Centre was established by the university’s chancellor in order to promote economic growth. The centre aims to create job opportunities for its students and those in the region of Al Baha.
The University Medical Centre is one of the main providers of healthcare in the Al Baha region. University students, faculty members, university staff and their families can all benefit from the services offered at the centre.
