The most groundbreaking approaches to everything from teaching and learning to university leadership are to be shared and dissected at an exciting new event coinciding with the Times Higher Education Awards this autumn.

THE Live will be a unique opportunity for 300 delegates to spend the afternoon interacting with individuals and teams from across the UK whose expertise and innovation has earned them a place on the THE Awards shortlists in recent years.

There will also be opportunities to engage with THE’s award-winning journalists as they conduct interviews, chair debates and curate interactive sessions.

John Gill, THE editor, said: “We have long wanted to give our readers and audiences greater access and insight into the extraordinary achievements of those on our awards shortlists, and this is the perfect way to do that.

“We are looking forward to spending the afternoon digging into the hottest topics in UK higher education, and working with THE Award winners and nominees to share their expertise with delegates from universities across the UK.”

Until 18 October, THE is offering free tickets to those shortlisted and attending the THE Awards ceremony later the same day. There will also be a 50 per cent first-year discount for other delegates. Tickets will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, and there are only 300 places available in total.

THE Live will be held on the afternoon of Thursday 29 November at London’s Montcalm Hotel, just a few minutes from the Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane, where the THE Awards ceremony will take place the same evening.
