The American International University – Bangladesh was established in 1994 in Kuratoli, in the Dhaka area of Bangladesh.
The university currently has four main faculties through which it awards undergraduate and postgraduate degree: art and social sciences, business administration, engineering, and science and technology.
Students can participate in a range of activities on campus whether from sports teams such as cricket and football to art clubs.There are musical performances and poetry recitals that students can get involved with.
There are also a range of facilities on campus, which include the largest virtual lab setup in South Asia, a media studio, auditorium, and moot court. There’s a fully equipped gym on campus too.
The university has several notable alumni that include Zaheed Sabur, the first Bangladeshi director at Google, as well as Shakib Al Hasan, a Bangladesh national cricket team player.
