Fiji is to get a new body to regulate higher education. The Cabinet has approved the Higher Education Advisory Commission to advise the Minister for Education and manage accreditation and approval processes in the sector. Netani Sukanaivalu, the Minister for Education, said the current lack of regulation could compromise standards.
