Times Higher Education’s mission is to be the definitive source of data, insight and expertise on higher education worldwide.
Our business is built on 10 million datapoints from over 7,000 institutions in 171 countries; on unrivalled news, insight and intelligence; and on a relationship of trust with universities spanning 50 years.
This unique combination enables us to help institutions and their leadership teams, as well as millions of students every year, to make the informed decisions that will define their futures.
Higher education data
We live in the age of data. From market analysis to benchmarking, demonstrating impact to setting strategic goals, all universities need access to the right data to inform decision-making.
THE’s five decades serving higher education give us a deep understanding of the dynamics underpinning those decisions, while our global rankings have helped to define our shared understanding of excellence, and created rich, internationally comparable datasets.
From this rapidly growing database, we have developed a suite of tools to support the strategic goals of universities around the world. We are also a data provider to a growing number of governments.
